Pick a business partner that is GMP+-certified; then you are sure to get products that are manufactured according to the strictest feed safety standards. The GMP+ guidelines set out standards not only for products but also for processes, trade and services. Our products are in generally GMP+ certified. From 1st October 2015 these products will be marked: “This product is GMP+ FSA assured".
GMP stands for for Good Manufacturing Practices. In 1992 the current GMP+ Feed Certification scheme started out with this. Afterwards, it developed into a full-fledged certification scheme by integrating ISO quality management requirements, HACCP and other elements.
The + stands for the integration of HACCP: ‘Hazards Analysis and Critical Control Points’. The foundation of the GMP+ systematic is partly determined by continuous improvement according to the principle of the Deming circle ‘Plan, Do, Check, Act’: write down what I’m doing, do what I’ve written down and providing proof that I effectively did it.
Few products are not GMP+ certified. These products will not be marked.
Not certified products are subject to Danish law and have as a minimum Danish own check system based on the HACCP principles.
Our suppliers do not have to be GMP+-certified but can also be certified according to certifications such as QS, FAMI-QS or GTP which are accepted by GMP+.
