Liquid iron supplement for piglets

Opti-Iron is an acidified iron supplement for piglets for use in drinking water. Use of Opti-Iron provides the piglets with a constant access to iron in the farrowing stable and supports the intestinal function and weight gain as well until weaning.

Opti-Iron contains:

Iron lactate, which is easily absorbable iron and ensures an optimal haemoglobin level in the blood and supports growth
Organic acids support at good intestinal function
Electrolytes (Na+, Cl-) maintain and stabilize the electrolyte balance
Dextrose as easily absorbable energy

Packaging

18 litre can – 24 cans per pallet
200 litre drum – 2 drums per pallet

Application:

Administer Opti-Iron for suckling piglets in drinking water from day 1 to day 24 in a 2 % solution (with a pH of circa 3). Application of Opti-Iron via manual drinking dispensers or automatic dosing systems is possible. The piglets must have access to clean drinking water while using Opti-Iron, when they are more than 2 weeks old

Consumption:

18 L Opti-Iron are enough for approx. 720 piglets
200 L Opti-Iron are enough for approx. 8000 piglets
