R2 Agro developed a method whereby it is possible to manufacture large strong oat flakes with a minimum of waste and dust. The process of heat treatment results in partly gelatinised grain before it in its elastic form is rolled to coarse flakes. Only cleaned oats of high quality is used as raw material.
Rolled oat flakes from R2 Agro are typical being used in feed mixes for piglets, horses, and calves, as well as in muesli feed products. Coarse structure feed ingredients like Oat R2 Flakes are important for obtaining good stomach health and growth performance. It is also a valuable feed ingredient for racehorses.
