LactoDrench is an efficient rumen-drench for dairy cows, providing water and important nutrients to the cow after calving, so the risk of calving related problems such as milk fever and ketosis is reduced.

LactoDrench contains:

Calcium propionate as an easily absorbable calcium source preventing milk fever and ketosis
Easily absorbable phosphorus prevents ”downer cow syndrome”
Sodium bicarbonate which works as a buffer on rumen pH value
Electrolytes to re-establish the balance of electrolytes in the blood
Magnesium prevents convulsion and nerve paralysis

Application

Mix 500-750 grams of LactoDrench and if possible 300 ml of Ketoglyk or propylene glycol in 20 litres of lukewarm water. Drench the solution in the cows’ rumen through a drench pump immediately after calving. For ”problem cows” repeat after 12-24 hours.
