For prevention of ”downer cow syndrome” and milk fever

FosiBol is a fast release bolus containing a combination of easily absorbable phosphorus and calcium, which together effectively re- duces the risk of phosphorus and calcium deficiency after calving. FosiBol dissolves in the rumen within 25 minutes and releases 32 grams of phosphorus and 23 grams of calcium.

Consumption

2-4 boluses per cow in the period around calving

Application

1st bolus: Immediately after calving.  2nd bolus: 10-14 hours after calving (For prevention of milk fever one Cali- Bol bolus can also be administered.)

After treatment at calcium infusion:

1st bolus: 2 hours after calcium infusion administer a FosiBol or CaliBol bolus.  2nd bolus: 12 hours after calcium infusion administer a FosiBol bolus.
