FosiBol™

For prevention of ”downer cow syndrome” and milk fever

FosiBol™ is a fast release bolus containing a combination of easily absorbable phosphorus and calcium, which together effectively reduces the risk of phosphorus and calcium deficiency after calving. FosiBol™ dissolves in the rumen within 25 minutes and releases 32 grams of phosphorus and 23 grams of calcium.

FosiBol contains:

Monocalcium phosphate rapidly increases phosphorus and calcium blood level
Magnesium contributes to a higher level of mobilisation of calcium in the blood after calving

Consumption

2-4 boluses per cow in the period around calving

Application

1st bolus: Immediately after calving.  2nd bolus: 10-14 hours after calving (For prevention of milk fever one Cali-Bol bolus can also be administered.)

After treatment at calcium infusion:

1st bolus: 2 hours after calcium infusion administer a FosiBol™ or CaliBol® Original bolus.  2nd bolus: 12 hours after calcium infusion administer a FosiBol™ bolus.
