Dietetic calcium bolus for reduction of the risk of milk fever

CaliBol® is a fast releasing bolus, containing a combination of calcium chloride, calcium propionate and magnesium, which together effectively reduces the risk of milk fever after calving.

Application

1st bolus: Immediately after calving.
2nd bolus: 10-14 hours after calving.
High-risk cows may be supplemented with CaliBol 24 hours before calving and 24 hours after calving
It is recommended that a nutritional expert’s opinion be sought before use.

After treatment at calcium infusion:

1st bolus: 2 hours after calcium infusion
2nd bolus: 12 hours after calcium infusion

Consumption

2-4 boluses per cow in the period around calving
