Dietetic calcium and phosphorus bolus for reduction of the risk of milk fever

Ca-P Bol™ is a fast releasing bolus, containing a combination of rapidly and easily absorbable calcium, phosphorus and magnesium, which together effectively reduces the risk of milk fever and phosphorus deficiency after calving.

Calcium chloride optimises rapidly the calcium blood level
Monocalcium phosphate and calcium propionate supports calcium and phosphorus blood level for several hours
Magnesium contributes to a higher level of mobilisation of calcium in the blood after calving

Application

1st bolus: administer immediately after calving.
2nd bolus: administer 10-14 hours after calving.
High-risk cows may be supplemented with additional one Ca-P Bol™ 24 hours before calving and one 24 hours after calving.

Follow-up on calcium infusion:

1st bolus: 2 hours after calcium infusion.
2nd bolus: 12 hours after calcium infusion.

Consumption

2-4 boluses per cow in the period around calving.
