Only barley of good quality is used as raw material. It is well known that a combination of heat and mechanical treatment gives the best results when increasing cereals carbohydrate digestibility. The Barley R2 Flakes process comprises the well- established gelatinisation followed by a fine rolling of the grain in its warm and elastic condition. Then rapid cooling on a fluid-bed cooler.
Barley R2 Flakes is particularly well suited in
feed for calves, sows and horses.
